Last night the board of education elected Sara Davis board president once again. Susan Dunber Bey, appointed by the mayor last year, was elected vice president. Ms. Davis was re-elected April 15th. Jose Delgado was nominated, but had two votes to be President.
The President runs the meeting and sets the format for the meetings. The President also represents that board of education.
